Invention In-ten -tions
February 5th, 2010The past decade has been marked by many new and fun gizmos and gadgets. However, as technology advances, there are sure to be better inventions in this new decade.
In the last ten years, Apple has released a lot of unique items, and they are not done doing so.
So far they have come out with the iPod classic, iPod touch, iPod nano and iPod shuffle, as well as the new generations of these old favorites.
This was, of course, in partnership with the many new laptops, desktops and software they developed. Not to mention the highly anticipated Apple Tablet, also known as the iPad, which is basically an oversized iPod touch.
This new computer from Apple will definitely be top notch. Described by Apple founder, Steve Jobs, as “magical,” it is sure to go beyond anything most people have imagined. Read the rest of this entry “
Youtube video of the month: Leprechaun in Mobile, Alabama
February 5th, 2010“Leprechaun in Mobile, Alabama” is a perfect YouTube video for a good laugh.
In this news video from NBC 15, they cover a story about the people in a small town in Alabama who claim to have seen a leprechaun.
However, this leprechaun only comes out at night, and if you shine light at it, it suddenly disappears.
This has made the leprechaun hard to capture on camera, but luckily for us we have the residents to tell us all we need to know about it.
What makes this video so special is not just the idea of a leprechaun in Alabama, but the people they interview.
Words cannot describe the first person they interview, not to mention the priceless smile at the end.
Perhaps one of the funniest parts of this video is the amateur sketch of the leprechaun, and when they say amateur, they really mean amateur. Read the rest of this entry “
